The softball team wins the East Kanto University Spring League and qualifies to play in the All Japan Championships

Our university's softball team won the East Kanto University Softball League Spring League for the seventh time in two years. As a result, we have earned the right to participate in the "5th All-Japan University Softball Selection Tournament SUMMER CUP 2025" and will compete against strong schools from around the country on the national stage to be held in Nagano Prefecture from August 18, 2025.
In the championship game, they scored the first run in the top of the second inning, but were tied in the bottom of the third inning, and allowed the other team to take the lead in the bottom of the fourth inning. However, with the support of their teammates, they continued to attack tenaciously, scoring one run each in the top of the sixth and seventh innings, and ultimately won the game 3-2.
Last year, the softball team narrowly missed out on winning in both the spring and fall tournaments, which was disappointing, but they were able to get their revenge by winning this year's tournament and qualifying for the long-awaited national tournament.
